ZUD – the journey
Thomas Colley has been in the HVAC/BMS industry for over 25 years living out a passion for system design and engineering. The skills acquired through many years as a systems integrator using Siemens products has positioned Thomas as an expert in application of Siemens BMS products.
Darren Black joined ZUD in 2017 to focus on developing the OEM and peripherals (field devices) markets with a mission to ensure Siemens products are included in each aspect of HVAC equipment where measurement and control is required. This ranges from sensors in package AHU’s to electrical metering / energy management in multi-tenant billing installations
ZUD became a member of i4 Group which has allowed the business to focus on training, support and building the Siemens brand through a national System Integrator network and OEM’s
Our distribution model has created the opportunity for Consultants, System Integrators and Building Owners to approach ZUD regarding new and existing installations.

ZUD has an OEM incentive to encourage original equipment manufacturers to deploy Siemens engineering excellence in their products. We offer custom branding for high volume products as well as an “import direct to OEM” channel that reduces the total cost of handling. We understand the price sensitivity in manufacturing and will ensure your product will be better off with a Siemens solution.
i4 Group company – iLED Manufacturing produces the Siemens Sivacon S4 and S8 type tested distribution boards under licence in South Africa. Combining our Siemens Sivacon type tested DB boards and electrical switchgear with Siemens Desigo controls and field devices allows us to provide a turnkey solution to our Systems Integrators
